Dear Dad,

A bit belated, but for your birthday, I created a word game. Contained in this webpage are nine puzzles. Each puzzle consists of a fill-in-the-letter-blanks phrase and an accompanying illustration, which captures the essence of the respective phrase.

Each illustration was generated by a conversation I had with Chat-GPT. In this conversation, I explained nine different lessons or sayings I’ve picked up from you over the years, and which I find myself thinking about regularly in reaction to random daily happenings. In return, Chat-GPT generated an illustration depicting each phrase.

Can you correctly guess every lesson? Fill letters into the blanks to find out!

How to play:

• Each line below is a word in the phrase, and, as a helpful starting point, the five vowels will be revealed.

• Once all of the letters are correctly filled into a given phrase, the next puzzle will automatically be revealed.

• Note that, while some words are contractions, you need not worry about punctuation (you just need to fill in letters).
